MISSION STATEMENT
Le Care Extraordinaire, Inc. is a nonprofit, Black woman-led, California-licensed family childcare and early education program serving infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children in Inglewood and surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment that supports working families—particularly low-to-moderate income and subsidized families—by preparing children for success academically, socially, and emotionally.Through a play-based, culturally responsive approach, we integrate STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and age-appropriate digital literacy into our daily curriculum to promote curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and early exposure to future career pathways.⸻ABOUT US
Le Care Extraordinaire, Inc. was created to meet the growing need for high-quality, trusted childcare for working families and children on long waitlists. We provide a warm, personalized learning environment that focuses on whole-child development and school readiness.What sets us apart is our intentional integration of STEAM-based learning and introductory computer technology into a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum. Children participate in hands-on activities that build early science, engineering, math, creativity, and foundational digital literacy skills, while maintaining a healthy balance with play and social interaction.By combining high-quality childcare with innovative early learning experiences, Le Care Extraordinaire helps close opportunity gaps and prepares children to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.⸻COMMUNITY & LICENSE
